Fèlsina is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena area), beside the southeasten margin of the production area of Chianti Classico, between the foothills of the Chianti hills and the initial part of the Ombrone valley. As a whole, Fèlsina spread over an area of about 500 hectares, of which just over 90 devoted to the vineyard, at an altitude between 350 and 420 meters above sea level. The nearby clay heath tytpical of “Crete senesi”, in the direction of Montalcino, remember that Fèlsina, crossed by the administrative border of Chianti Classico, is, from a geological point of view, a "frontier land". Fèlsina is therefore variety of climate, landscape, land. Its vineyards are characterized by soils and microclimates, unique in their particularity. From such extraordinary variety, it comes to light the Fèlsina’s Sangiovese that is composed by a set of variations – in terms of land and clones - which are a unique asset to pass on to future generations.
