Bon in 1984, La Fille Bertha has a wide background that ranges from illustration to psychology. She studied in Milan, Vienna and Cagliari, where she currently lives. She works as a freelance artist, muralist, illustrator, designer. "I was bon from a cloud raining while deeply .. Growing, I Decided to move to the Moon: here, now, I feel quite comfortable, as if I had Reached my real home, for the time being! Sometimes it's cutting easier to use symbols, rather than spoken words ... "La Fille Bertha Through this suggestion you immediately get in touch with what we might call the enchanted world of La Fille Bertha, who, since childhood, draws through a spontaneous and compulsive form which results in endless sketches. Her visual imagination is populated by creatures from feminine features that show to the viewer a glimpse that encompasses both a thin thread of vanity and mystery, a sort of rarefied reality, far away from the noise of the moden world. The protagonists of her works are ermetic, ephemeral, almost elusive. They seem to float in a timeless dimension, as claimed by the artist: "The figures I draw bon on paper but exist for a while somewhere in my mind, where there are almost dormant." The atmosphere, made with pastel tones, seems to suggest silent, magical and surreal places, which transform the surrounding environment in a decorative background by altenating irregular patten, thus amplifying the visual impact. Moreover, in addition to pursuing her own research and manufacture individual, she works as a freelance illustrator in the world of publishing, fashion and music industry. Since 2011 she produces her draws on t-shirts and accessories, with its own line.
